Attorney in law from the Law Faculty of the Universidad de Antioquia, Specialist in Labor and Social Security Law (Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana). Luis holds a Master of Procedural Law Degree (Universidad de Medellín), Postgraduate course in Constitutional Law (Universidad de Salamanca), Specialist in Social Rights Constitutionalism (Universidad de Castilla La Mancha), Postgraduate Labor Law course (Universidad de Salamanca) and in Labor Relations for Ibero-American experts of the UCLM and Bolognia Universities.

Luis’s professional practice has focused on advising employers on matters related to labor law and social security; the design of management models for individual and collective labor relations, aligned with business strategies; representation in disputes over employer liability; advice and participation in collective labor agreement negotiation processes and representation in matters related to individual and collective labor law; he participates as arbitrator and attorney in labor arbitration proceedings and provides advisory to ensure compliance with social security and representation before the administrative supervisory authorities.

Additionally, Luis is a Lecturer and university professor in labor law in subjects including: Introduction to the Study of Law and Philosophy of Law; labor arbitrator on the list of the Supreme Court of Justice and member of the Ibero-American Group of Experts on Labor Relations (Turin-Bolonia-Toledo).
